On the palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, gourmandize as well as an tangy frame. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and slightly crushed raspberry combined with hints of violet plum, lilac, spice, cardamom, discreet hints of sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint of fresh vanilla. The tannins are precise, relatively massive, well conducted and discreetly tight.
