Château La Freynelle – Petit Verdot 2020 – Bordeaux 

On the nose, fruity, offering gourmandize, delicacy and a certain depth. It reveals the notes of bright blackberry, violet and more slightly crushed strawberry associated with touches of purple berries, sweet spices, sweet tobacco and discreet hints of vanilla. On the palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, gourmandize as well as an tangy frame. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and slightly crushed raspberry combined with hints of violet plum, lilac, spice, cardamom, discreet hints of sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint of fresh vanilla. The tannins are precise, relatively massive, well conducted and discreetly tight.
