Les Forts de Latour 2020, Pauillac

On the nose fruity, fresh, elegant and offers concentration and elegance with a touch of restraint. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, bright blackcurrant and hints of fleshy/ripe raspberry combined with fine nuances of lily doe/lilac, graphite, gravelly minerality, fine hints of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of vanilla and hazelnut. On the palate, fruity, balanced, elegant and offers suavity, freshness, gourmandize, sapidity, roundness, a nice definition, precision, a little tension, a nice power all in finesse and harmony as well as a fine and racy texture. The wine expresses notes of fresh/sparkling blackberry, bright raspberry and more lightly pulpy/juicy cherry combined with hints of crushed currants, fresh lily, cherry blossom, fresh nutmeg, discreet hints of cardamom as well as an imperceptible hint of fresh blond tobacco and cinnamon. The tannins are elegant, fine and mellow. Sapidity as well as a nice mellowness on the palate/persistence.
