On the nose, fruity, elegant and offers nice definition, a certain opulent power, depth / obscurity as well as a certain aromatic purity and a little spicy side. It reveals notes of luscious /bursting boysenberry, blackcurrant and hints of violet associated with touches of strawberry, fine nuances of blueberry as well as subtle hints of camphor, bourbon vanilla, black pepper, with fine tips of nice graphite minerality, blond tobacco and tonka bean. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandize, smoothness, minerality, elegance and a certain controlled / mastered richness, smoothness and tension. The wine expresses notes of pulpy / fleshy blackcurrant, bright boysenberry and hints of bright small red berries associated with touches of violet, plum and nuances of tonka bean, blond tobacco, cardamom, and fine tips of graphite, mocha and vanilla. Good length. The tannins offer a nice grain and a little mellowness. A nice lingering finish. A lovely wine!
