On the nose, a nice finesse of grain, elegance, strength (in finesse/mastery) and a small compact side. We find notes of wild strawberry, pulpy wild blackberry and more slightly morello cherry associated with touches of small ripe berries, licorice, cardamom as well as a very discreet touch of vanilla and pepper. The palate is fruity, with finesse/precision and offers juiciness, greediness, minerality, a nice definition, roundness as well as a certain grain, a certain richness, a fine compactness and an airy character in the balance. On the palate, expressesing notes of juicy wild strawberry, pulpy/juicy cherry and more slightly blackcurrant associated with touches of blueberry, star anise, racy minerality (finely iodized), with fine points of caramelization and toastiness. The tannins are precise and well conducted. A nice suave and acidulous persistence.
