Château Thieuley – Sauvignon Semillon 2020, Bordeaux Blanc

On the nose, fruity, fresh and offers a nice fresh/ripe, pleasant intensity (in its freshness). It reveals notes of fresh apple, fresh peach/pulp and more lightly peach blossom combined with small touches of lemon/crumpled lemon leaf and discreet hints of gravel. On the palate, fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers good definition, juiciness, a certain finesse of texture, gourmandize, roundness and a little fat. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy peach, crushed lychee and more lightly Spanish lime combined with hints of exotic fruits, a fine touch of lemon and an imperceptible waft of lemon blossom and verbena.
