On the nose, fruity, pulpy and offers gourmandize, a little power as well as a little concentration and fine texture. It reveals notes of bursting red currant, cherry and more slightly pulpy/crushed blackcurrant combined with hints of violet, lily, vanilla and a subtle hint of hazelnut. On the palate, fruity, fresh, balanced and offers a good definition, minerality, smoothness, a little fat as well as gourmandize, a little richness and creaminess (in finesse). The wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy raspberry, pulpy/juicy black currant and more lightly of violet associated with touches of bold raspberry, cherry as well as subtle hints of blueberry, licorice, fine hints of dark chocolate and toasted almond.
