Domaine du Bouscat – Cuvée La Gargonne 2020, Bordeaux Supérieur 

On the nose, elegant, fruity and offers concentration, nice depth, fine texture and intensity (in finesse). It reveals notes of pulpy black berries, bursting black berries and more slightly morello cherry associated with hints of lily, violet as well as fine hints of pulpy/fresh raspberry, fine hints of graphite/camphor, sweet spices, delicate points of caramelization and toastiness. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandize, fine creaminess, intensity, some power as well as tension and delicacy. The wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, small bursting dark berries and more lightly morello cherry combined with hints of lily, blueberry, fine hints of pulpy blueberry as well as hints of vanilla, toast and toasted hazelnut/chocolate. Good length. The tannins are precise and offer power and smoothness.
