Château Haut Nouchet 2020, Pessac-Léognan

On the nose offers a fine power, a certain gourmandize as well as a nice texture. It reveals notes of juicy pear, apple and more slightly citrus fruits associated with fine touches of pink lychee and an imperceptible hint of rose (in the background). On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/acidic structure, a little fattiness, roundness as well as gourmandize, a little tension and a certain generosity. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy lychee, juicy/pulpy lemon and more slightly bursting green peach combined with hints of tangerine, exotic berries, distinguished minerality/iodized gravel, an imperceptible hint of toastiness, vanilla and toasted almond. Good length.
