On the nose, fruity and offers some concentration as well as a little intensity. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, ripe wild berries and more slightly violet associated with touches of fresh licorice as well as discreet hints of violet, nutmeg, clove and grey pepper. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandized, a fine unctuousness as well as a certain power, a mineral frame, a certain contained richness and a small airy character in the richness. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, black currant and more slightly violet combined with hints of juicy/fresh strawberry as well as hints of lily, dark chocolate, fine toasted and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are massive and mellow.
