Château Saint-Pierre, Pomerol

On the nose, fruity, fresh and offers some power and complexity. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry/blackberry, juicy/fresh black berries and more lightly violet combined with hints of lily, strawberry as well as hints of licorice stick and a discreet touch of dark chocolate. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/fresh frame, a tangy/juicy fruit. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, fresh/pulpy blackberry and more lightly black berry combined with hints of lily, violet as well as fine points of blue berry, vanilla, a discreet touch of graphite and toasted hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are polished.
