Château La Tonnelle 2020, Haut-Médoc

On the nose it is fruity and offers a certain power, a very fine intensity as well as a nice finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and more lightly small berries associated with touches of violet, lily as well as fine hints of sichuan pepper, with a hint of hazelnut and exotic spices. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers gourmandize, juiciness, good definition, freshness, a fine / finely tight texture, a fine stretched side, a certain tension and the finesse of the sweetness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackcurrant, juicy raspberry and more slightly small black berries associated with small floral touches as well as fine hints of racy minerality and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The tannins offer a very fine mellowness.
