Château Coufran 2020, Haut-Médoc

On the nose it offers delicacy, a fine power as well as a very fine richness and a certain freshness. It reveals notes of pulpy blackcurrant, small black fruits and slight hint of  strawberry associated with blueberry, cherry blossoms as well as fine hints of tobacco. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers a mineral structure, good definition, a certain juiciness as well as a fine indulgence and a fine richness / concentration. This wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and more slightly violet associated with touches of blueberry, fleshy / crushed berries as well as hints of caramelization, tobacco and a hint of vanilla. Good length. The tannins are well developed. A very discreet hint of cocoa and coffee on the persistence.
