The nose is aromatic, racy and offers power (full of finesse), a good definition and elegance. It reveals notes of quite ripe wild blackberry, quite ripe strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of dry mild tobacco, zan, a racy minerality (almost ioded) as well as fine hints of crushed raspberry, grey pepper and a subtle hint of underwood. The palate is racy, mineral and offers tension, justness as well as concentration (full of justness), powerful, silkiness as well as a fine on-hold side, richness/matter and a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild cassis, dry wild strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small dry wild fruits, raspberry, rose, clove as well as a subtle hint of tobacco, camphor, dry almond, small hints of underwood and a racy/iodine minerality. Good length.
