On the nose, it is racy and offers minerality, slightly tight grain and fresh pulpy fruit. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, raspberry and more lightly small black fruits associated with touches of cacao cardamom as well as a hint of soft spices, violet. On the palate, fruity, juicy, and fresh, mineral and offers a good definition, juiciness, and gourmandize as well as a juicy/acidulous frame and a nice bright/acidulous fruit. The wine expresses notes of bright Boysen berries, raspberries and more lightly crushed redcurrant associated to touches of bright cassis, cherry flowers, racy minerality (limestone) as well as hints of tonka bean, hazelnut, and fine hints of vanilla. A very fine chewiness in the finish/persistence.
