The nose is elegant, racy, quite aromatic and offers a certain deepness as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of quite ripe blackberry, crushed wild strawberry, small notes of violet, graphite associated with touches of small blue fruits, raspsberry, spices as wlle as very discreet hints of underwood, tea and cocoa powder. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, well-built and offers a juicy/mineral frame, suavity, a certain minerality, a fine concentration as well as a certain gourmandize and a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quite ripe cassis, small pulpy wild black fruits, lily, small notes of violet associated with touches of small pulpy/juicy blue plum as well as discreet hints of juicy/pulpy raspberry, tonka bean, sweet spices, a discreet hint of pepper and tobacco (in the background). Good length. Tannins are elegant and supple. A persistence on notes of crushed almond and chocolate.
