Château Lestage – La Mouette 2019 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fresh, mineral, racy and offers a fine intensity as well as a beautiful fine grain. It reveals notes of fresh/fleshy pear, quenette and small notes of fleshy apple associated with small touches of grey pepper as well as fine hints of citrus, a racy minerality and very discreet hints of mandarine zests. The palate is elegant, delicate, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the fat, definition, a fine acidulous frame, fat, roundness as well as suavity, generosity and a small sapidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy pear, fleshy/pulpy apple and small notes of white flowers associated with touches of crushed lychee, exotic fruits, watermelon as well as hints of toasted, vanilla, discreet hints of almond and pepper. An imperceptible varietal and buttery hint on the aftertaste.
