The nose is slightly on the hold. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, pulpy raspeberry and small notes of small fleshy fruits associated with touches of violet, hints of green cardamom and a discreet hint of toasted/sweet spices. The palate offers freshness, minerality, energy, a certain tension as well as a fine acidulous frame, suavity and gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of juicy/crushed plum, chocolate, violet as well as fine hints of vanilla and a subtle hint of green cardamom. Tannins are well-built.
