Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur – 16ème Génération 2018 – Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits

The nose is elegant, structured and offers of concentration, a small intensity, fine freshness, a fine grain and a small spiciness. There are notes of fresh / bright cherry, Boysenberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of cassis, a hint of cherry blossoms, licorice stick, black tea as well as a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and an imperceptible almost blueberry hint. The palate is fruity, a bit tight and offers juiciness, tension, a small suavity, straightness as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / crunchy blackberry, crunchy purple plum and small notes of violet associated with hints of cherry stone, fresh flowers as well as a discreet hint of tea and a very fine varietal hint.
