The nose is aromatic and offers a certain intensity, a small power as well as a sensation of creaminess. It reveals notes of pulpy Quetsche plum, fleshy Boysen blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed strawberry, hints of cornflowers, violet as well as a discreet hint of fresh licorice, lilac and of chocolate. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers tension, a beautiful acidulous frame, a fine contained richness, a fine tight side as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy strawberry, cream of cherry and juicy cassis associated with touches of acidulous red berries, cherry blossoms, cornflowers, hints of vanilla, toasted as well as a subtle hint of almond and hazelnut flowers. Tannins are finely mellow. Good length.
