L’Embellie – Le Vaucrain 2019 – Côte de Nuits Village

The nose is elegant and offers good definition as well as a certain small intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, pulpy blackberry and small notes of ripe wild redcurrants associated with touches of lily rose, spices as well as fine hints of racy minerality, purple plum and a discreet hint of vanilla and gray pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, currently discreetly tight and offers an acidulous frame, a small roundness, a good finesse of the grain, a small silkiness, gourmand, suavity, a certain small tension as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / fleshy cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of redcurrants associated with touches of fleshy / pulpy plum, hints of blueberry, violet, racy minerality as well as fine hints of rosewood, green cardamom and an imperceptible hint of pepper (in the background).
