The nose is racy and offers intensity as well as a certain fine power. The wine needs be decanted. It reveals notes of bright cassis, bright Quetsche plum and small notes of violet associated with small touches of gray pepper, wild red berries, nutmeg as well as hints of cornflowers, fresh blond tobacco, laurel berries, licorice and an imperceptible hint of dry local grove. The palate is fruity, all in balance and offers freshness, minerality, a beautiful definition, finesse, energy, a beautiful finesse of the suavity as well as a certain delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, bright Quetsche plum and small notes of fleshy / juicy strawberry associated with touches of cornflowers, blueberry, fine hints of fresh licorice stick, blond tobacco, discrete hints of laurel berries, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are elegant, precise, fine and a bit firm. Beautiful gourmandise and suavity on the finish / persistence. Presence of a subtle hint of dried / crushed almond on the persistence / aftertaste.
