The nose is intense and offers power, a certain deepness as well as a fine gourmandize. It reveals notes of pulpy Boysen blackberry, pulpy red berries and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of bright cassis, hints of violet, peony as well as fine hints of liquorice, with discreet hints of tea and an imperceptible hint of rosewood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, suavity, a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful touch, silkiness as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, pulpy plum and small notes of fresh / juicy raspberry associated with touches of rose, violet, fresh red berries as well as fine hints of racy minerality, discreet hints of sweet spices, nutmeg and a subtle hint of bay leaf (in the background). Tannins are very discreetly firm.
