Marquis de Saint-Estèphe 2018 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is racy, fruity and offers a small minerality. It reveals notes of bright violet plum, violet, crushed blackberryand small notes of small wild fruits associated with a hint of lilac, discreet hints of crushed raspberry and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small fleshiness, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, freshness and a small gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, pulpy strawberry and small notes of raspberry associated with small touches of violet, camphor, a racy minerality, a subtle hint of cardamom and tonka bean. Good length.
