The nose is elegant, fine and offers a fine grain, a fine deepness as well as a very fine intensity. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, griotteand small notes of violet plum associated with touches of small fleshy/ripe red berries as well as hints of violet, Sichuan pepper, saffron and a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a small freshness, silkiness, juiciness, a fine gourmandize, suavity and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright griotte, bright violet plumand small notes of blueberry associated with touches of bright strawberry, small red berries, saffron, lilac as well as fine hints of racy minerality, zan, black tea and a hint of cardamom/tonka bean. Good length. Tannins are racy. A persistence on notes of chocolate and a fine hint of caramelization.
