The nose is elegant, fine, racy and offers power (full of finesse). It reveals notes of pulpy wild cassis, pulpy cherry and small notes of small quite ripe berries associated with a touch of black fruits, violet, black tea as well as discreet hints of almond, nutmeg and toasted/caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, gourmandize, tension, a good definition as well as a small fat, a fine grain and a certain suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright griotteand small notes of blueberry associated with small touches of lilac, violet as well as a subtle hint of cherry blossom, small bright red fruits, discreet hints of black tea, coffee, toasted and spices. Tannins are slightly tight/dry. Good length. A subtle hint of vanilla on the persistence.
