The nose is elegant, racy, well-built and offers a beautiful definition, a certain intensity and power. It reveals notes of ripe/hot cassis, wild blackberryand small notes wild strawberry associated with touches of crushed raspberry, lily, violet as well as hints of racy minerality, spices, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of fresh mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, beautifully racy and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, minerality as well as a very beautiful finesse of the grain and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of crushed cherry, crushed raspberry as well as delicate notes of lily, violet, liquorice, bourbon vanilla pod, hints of almond and racy/iodine minerality. Good length. Tannins are precise. A very discreet hint of coffee on the persistence.
