Château Confidence de Margaux 2018 – Margaux

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers concentration, elegant and deepness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of fresh wild raspberry, pulpy strawberry and small notes of pulpy blackberry associated with small touches of violet, small ripe fruits as well as fine hints of liquorice, fresh tobacco, a hint of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of bergamot. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, full of finesse and offers a small melodious side, a mineral/juicy frame, a beautiful definition, precision, elegance as well as gourmandize and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, pulpy/juicy red berriesand small notes of violet associated with touches of blackberry as well as hints of fresh violet/fresh flowers, a hint of small pulpy/fresh red fruits, fine hints of toasted and sweet spices. Sapidity and gourmandize on the finish.
