The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a certain intensity. It reveals notes of crunchy strawberries, strawberry flowers and small notes of iris associated with touches of acidulous cassis, fresh nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of varietal and fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers gourmandize, a certain suavity, a small fat, a fine tension, juiciness, a small freshness as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, creamy raspberry and small notes of acidulous / pulpy red berries associated with touches of violet, lilac, nutmeg, green cardamom as well as a hint of toasted almond and an imperceptible varietal hint in the background. Tannins are precise and a bit firm. Good length.
