The nose offers a small power, a fine intensity, a fine grain as well as a fine minerality. It reveals notes of fleshy / crushed blackberry, ripe / fresh strawberry and small notes of lily, violet associated with small touches of tonka bean, Cuben pepper as well as fine hints of raspberry leaf and a hint of fresh ulonutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, tension, energy, a stretched side as well as a small gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / fleshy strawberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of pulpy Boysenberry associated with touches of racy minerality, violet, tonka bean, sweet spices as well as a subtle hint of green cardamom and nutmeg. Tannins are precise and well-built. Good length. A discreet chew as well as a fine sapidity on the finish / persistence.
