It reveals notes of Boysenberry, cornflowers, violet and small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of blue plum, raspberry, very fine hints of tonka bean, a subtle hint of sweet spices, tea as well as an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla bean and peony. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant, beautifully defined and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, purity (of the fruit), a nice fresh frame as well as a juicy / fresh /gourmand fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright raspberry, bright cherry, cherry and small notes of blue plum associated with touches of juicy cassis, cornflowers, nutmeg, camphor as well as a discreet hint of toast / chocolate. Tannins are fine, elegant, precise and racy. A fine straightness on the finish. A wine full of elegance and freshness. Presence of an imperceptible hint of bitterness (cocoa / varietal) on the persistence / aftertaste.
