The nose is fruity and offers minerality, a very fine power as well as a fine incisive side. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, pulpy wild cassis and small notes of fleshy purple plum associated with small touches of crushed cherry, Sichuan pepper, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of laurel berries. The palate is fruity, framed and offers juiciness, a beautiful freshness, minerality, energy, a certain tension as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, juicy / fresh raspberry and small notes of fresh / juicy plum associated with touches of small fresh / juicy red berries, violet, cornflowers as well as toasted hints, cardamom, licorice, a subtle hint of minerality and an imperceptible hint of laurel berries (in the background). Tannins offer suppleness. Good length.
