Château Pierrail – Sauvignon Blanc & Sauvignon Gris 2019 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power, a fine freshness as well as a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of lemon, zest and small notes of green apple skin associated with touches of juicy small fruits, delicate hints of lemon blossom as well as a discreet hint of lime and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced (beautiful balance) and offers an acidulous frame, a small tension, suavity, roundness, dynamism, finesse as well as elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy lemon, lime and small notes of juicy green peach associated with touches of quenette, fresh apple as well as fine hints of fresh / juicy lychee and an imperceptible hint of fresh almond (in the background). A beautiful bright and gourmand fruit!
