Le Blanc de La Rivière 2019 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fresh, racy and offers minerality, a fine stretched sensation as well as a very fine sensation of firmness. It reveals notes of fresh mesocarp, zest and small notes of ripe green apple, lemon associated with small touches of juicy peach, lychee as well as fine hints of pear blossoms / white flowers, fresh grapefruit and racy minerality. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers suavity, a fresh frame, a small fat, a fine grain, roundness / fullness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh lemon, mesocarp and small notes of juicy / fresh nectarine associated with a touch of fresh / crunchy apple, fresh quenette as well as a subtle hint of white flowers, rose, lemon green and racy minerality. Good length. A beautiful persistence on acidulous but quite ripe fruits. Presence of a very discreet / imperceptible saline hint in the background.
