The nose is aromatic, slightly tight and offers concentration as well as a certain power. It reveals notes of violet, cherry, small notes of cherry blossom associated with touches of blueberry, small wild fruits, hints of tobacco box, laurel berries as well as hints of sweet spices, cardamom, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of local grove (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, acidulous, slightly tight and offers a beautiful definition, tension, finesse, a certain delicacy, power full of finesse, deepness as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cherry, acidulous redcurrant, small notes of acidulous/juicy blackberry associated with touches of violet, blueberry, camphor, liquorice, juicy/fresh cassis as well as hints of tonka bean, sweet spices, cardamom and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are precise, well-built and elegant. Good length.
