Domaine Melody – L’Exception 2019 – Crozes-Hermitage

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of vine peach, bright apricot, small notes of citrus (mandarine, pink grapefruit) associated with small touches of lychee, passion fruits, peach flowers as well as a subtle hint of laurel/local grove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, gourmandize, a good definition, elegance, a small tension, a beautiful freshness, a small crystallized side as well as a certain suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, juicy/pulpy apricot, small notes of pink lychee associated with touches of vine peach, sugared grapefruit, peach flowers as well as a subtle hint of sense of the place (local biotope). A fine bitterness in the finish/persistence.
