The nose is fruity, racy and offers a certain minerality. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, cherry, small notes of cherry stem associated with small touches of cassis, cherry blossom as well as hints of strawberry flowers, spices and fine varietal hints. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a small gourmandize, suavity, an acidulous frame, a good finesse of the grain, a certain delicacy as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy red cherry, juicy cassis, small notes of bright Boysen berry associated with touches of cherry core, strawberry flowers, small bright fruits as well as hints of liquorice stick, fine hints of fresh mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of arbutus. Tannins are precise and very finely close. Good length. There are discreet hints of tonka bean and a very fine chew in the finish/persistence.
