Domaine Belle – Les Pierelles 2018 – Crozes-Hermitage

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers intensity, a certain concentration, deepness as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of bright cassis, bigarreau cherry, small notes of small wild berries associated with touches of violet plum, red plum, mild tobacco, violet, delicate hints of racy minerality (terroir), white pepper as well as fine hints of sense of the place (local biotope) and sage. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness/gourmandize, precision, a beautiful silkiness, a certain tension, a beautiful bright/fresh fruit, small fleshiness, tension as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, pulpy wild raspberry, small notes of pulpy violet plum associated with touches of bright red plum, zan, toasted, cocoa, hints of bourbon vanilla, cardamom, sweet spices as well as fine hints of black olive and a very discreet hint of sage. Tannins are elegant and racy. A beautiful bright and elegant fruit. Lot of delicacy and control. Congrats!
