The nose is fruity and offers power, a fine grain, intensity as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, griotte cherry, small notes of small wild black berries associated with touches of pepper, local grove/local garrigue, wild strawberry, laurel berries, discreet hints of racy minerality, spices as well as a subtle hint of verbena and toasted. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a racy minerality (almost saline), a good definition, a fine grain, juiciness as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy wild cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of racy minerality, violet, small wild berries associated with a touch of cherry, juicy/pulpy blueberry, cardamom, garrigue as well as a subtle hint of liquorice, toasted, dark chocolate and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are precise and well-built. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of thyme in the finish/background.
