The nose is fruity, racy and offers a small intensity as well as concentration. It reveals notes of griotte, small crushed black fruits, cassis, small notes of camphor associated with small touches of crushed wild strawberry, tonka bean, zan as well as a discreet hint of black olive and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly on the hold and offers an acidulous frame, a certain tension, a small suavity, power as well as a certain gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, fleshy/crushed blackberry, small notes of griotte associated with touches of wild raspberry, tonka bean, zan, black olive as well as hints of caramelization, sweet spices, a subtle hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of sense of the place (local biotope). Tannins are very finely marked. Good length. This wine should be decanted.
