The nose is fruity and offers intensity, fruitiness, power, a fine grain, dynamism as well as a certain purity of the fruit. It reveals notes of dry cassis, concentrated blueberry, small notes of cornflower, small blue fruits associated with touches of wild strawberry, kirsch cherry, zan, hints of Madagascar pepper, olive/tapenade as well as very fine hints of bourbon vanilla pod and a very discreet hint of rosemary flowers (in the background). The palate is concentrated, racy, fruity and offers an acidulous frame, tension, finesse in its definition, dynamism, juiciness, freshness as well as richness/concentration full of justness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild black berries, dry cassis, small notes of juicy blueberry associated with touches of cornflower, raspberry, hints of small blue fruits, lilac, rosemary flowers, thyme flowers as well as hints of zan, tapenade, a subtle hint of tobacco and tonka bean. Tannins are precise and very finely marked. Good length.
