Vignoble des Templiers 1138, Laurens 2018 – Côtes du Rhône Villages Roaix

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a certain controlled power, intensity as well as a beautiful fine grain. It reveals notes of bright blue berries, cornflowers and small notes of wild cassis associated with touches of local grove, bright cherry, small wild red fruits, hints of thyme flowers, toasted hazelnut, sweet spices as well as very discreet hints of licorice stick, blond tobacco and vanilla. The palate is fruity, elegant, bright and offers a beautiful definition, pure fruit, beautiful finesse, a small unctuosity as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright Bigarreau cherry, bright cassis and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of black berries, zan, mocha, laurel berries, thyme flowers as well as fine hints of sweet spices and vanilla bean. Tannins are precise, fine and smooth.
