The nose is aromatic, gourmand, well-built and offers a small oxidative hint, elegance, a good definition, deepness as well as a good finesse of the grain. There are notes of quince, kumquat and small notes of yellow apple associated with small touches of pear, pear flowers, fresh hazelnut as well as fine hints of sweet spices, honey and a very discreet hint of olive leaf. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a small flattering side, a small chiseled side, roundness, fat, complexity, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of quince, lemon and small notes of juicy / fleshy pear associated with touches of yellow apple, quenette, pear blossoms, lemon blossoms, hints of spices, beeswax as well as a very discreet hint of laurel, olive leaf and sage. Good length. Presence of very slight hints of fresh hazelnut on the finish.
