Château Lancyre – La Rouvière 2019 – Languedoc

The nose offers power, a fine grain, a fine fleshy as well as a certain concentration. It reveals notes of pear, apple blossoms and small notes of crushed plum associated with touches of quince, arbutus, cypress, racy minerality as well as fine hints of crushed berries and a hint of sweet citrus. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, a good definition, a small gourmandize, tension, a small richness, fat as well as a discreetly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy pear, crushed apple and small notes of quince associated with touches of lychee, apple blossoms, ripe apricot, hints of elderflower, exotic fruits as well as discreet hints of cypress and sage. Good length.
