Château Belles-Graves 2016 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity and offers an aromatic precision, a fine deepness and a very fine power/intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, zan, small notes of violet, lily associated with discreet hints of cardamom as well as an imperceptible hint of cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, small juicy berries, small notes of cassis, crunchy strawberry associated with discreet hints of zan, cornflower/lily and a subtle hint of cuben pepper (in the background). Good length. Tannins are fine and very discreetly marked. Beautiful persistence.
