The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a fine tension and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/crushed cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of wild strawberry associated with a touch of crushed violet plum, violet as well as fine hints of racy minerality (clay), sweet spices, vanilla and toasted (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. Very discreet hints of underwood/mushroom/chocolate on the finish/persistence.
