The nose offers a small intensity, a certain power as well as a fine/tight grain. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of small wild black fruits, a hint of raspberry as well as fine hints of toasted oak, nutmeg and a discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, gourmand and offers a good definition, a beautiful acidulous frame as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cream blackberry, creamy strawberry, small notes of creamy blueberry associated with small touches of acidulous cherry, cornflower, violet as well as hints of caramelization, chocolate, a subtle hint of pencil leaf and black tea. Good length. Very fine hints of toasted almond on the persistence.
