The nose offers a certain intensity, power, a grain as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and small fleshy wild fruits associated with a touch of crushed cassis, violet as well as fine hints of vanilla pod, Sichuan pepper and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a good definition, a certain ampleness and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/Fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with a touch of crushed plum as well as fine hints of lily, cherry blossom, liquorice, fine hints of toasted and a discreet hint of vanilla. A very fine hint of chocolate on the persistence.
