The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers an aromatic purity (full of control), deepness as well as harmony. It reveals notes of wild cassis, crushed wild blackberry, small notes of bright blueberry associated with fine touches of crushed strawberry as well as hints of liquorice, camphor, toasted hazelnut, a subtle hint of tonka bean, very discreet hints of tea and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers harmony, a beautiful acidulous frame, suavity, a fine fat as well as minerality and a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright blueberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with a touch of bright redcurrant, cornflower, violet as well as subtle hints of cardamom, tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of dry oak/local biotope. Tannins are firm.
