The nose is aromatic and offers freshness, a small power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of bright cassis, ripe raspberry, small notes of small bright blue fruits associated with fine touches of liquorice, nutmeg, violet, a very discreet hint of black tea and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is elegant, gourmand, beautifully fresh, well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, precision as well as a good definition of the fruit, suavity, a fine straightness and density/concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed wild cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of crunchy wild raspberry associated with touches of small blue fruits, violet acidulous candy as well as a subtle hint of liquorice, Sichuan pepper, spices and discreet hints of toasted oak (in the background). Good length. Tannins are very discreetly firm. A wine offering a beautiful freshness and precision.
