The nose is racy and offers a controlled power as well as freshness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, cassis, small notes of strawberry associated with a touch of violet plum as well as fine hints of black tea, grey pepper, a racy minerality, fresh liquorice and very discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, a fine suavity, an acidulous frame as well as a small gourmandize and a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy/acidulous blackberry, small notes of small juicy/Fresh berries associated with a touch of violet, a very fine touch of cassis bud as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg and spices. Tannins are precise, well-built and fine. A very discreet hint of good bitterness on the finish. Good length.
